I'm Hoang Nguyen Bang — a Technical Director in game development, leading a team of more than 20 engineers on a long-lived custom engine. I use Codex daily on production work, teach Codex and AI agents in Vietnamese, build open-source tooling inspired by OpenAI's engineering writing, and host Cú Đêm AI, a late-night community where developers learn by shipping.

On the Tù Bà Khuỳm channel I record practical engineering sessions: setting up coding agents with Codex, the OpenAI Agents SDK from first concepts to tool use, and building real applications with agents. Material is taught in Vietnamese for a local audience that English-first content doesn't reach.

Build

repository-harness: give the agent a map before it writes code.

I created repository-harness after reading OpenAI's Harness Engineering writing. It is a compact repository protocol: context, navigation, and safe maintenance files that help coding agents understand a repository before they touch it. Instead of letting an agent guess its way through a codebase, the agent reads first — how the repo is organized, where things live, and which operations are safe.

As an ambassador

What I'd bring to the program.

Proposed contributions, building on channels that already exist and already work.

Prepared Codex workshops, in Vietnamese. Structured, fully-prepared workshop series on Codex and agent workflows — extending the sessions Cú Đêm AI already runs, with materials published for reuse.

Open learning resources. Vietnamese-language guides and repo templates that pair with repository-harness, so teams can adopt coding agents with a working setup from day one.

Feedback from real usage. Structured feedback to the Codex team drawn from an active builder community and from maintaining tooling that coding agents consume daily.

These are proposals, not commitments — scope to be set with the program team.
